GCC Professional Development
GCC Professional Development helps people build their global competence as part of their university course work or professional training program. The curriculum is delivered through 9 core modules and offers up to 20 enhanced modules, supported by a Qualified Facilitator. The program can be customized to meet the needs of specific universities and organizations.
Developing Self-Awareness
Participants work through modules and dialogue sessions to better understand their own identity.
Broadening Perspectives
Participants learn from a series of examples and case studies how others may experience certain events differently than they do, and how to use practical strategies and methods to connect with people from other cultures and backgrounds.
Building Strong Teams
Modules guide participants through making sense of understanding the impact of differences within their teams and communities. They will finish the program with skills to navigate differences within their current and future workplaces.

Purdue Research confirms effectiveness of GCC Program
A recent Purdue study on the GCC confirms students’ intercultural development through pre- and post-program scores of the Intercultural Development Inventory that show students attending a 6-week program in Florence, Italy attained an astonishing mean increase of 13.54 IDI points, moving from the “Polarization” stage (where the student group was more likely to judge differences) to the “Minimization” stage (where the group has been enabled to find common ground with people from other cultures.)
